This is most unsettling.

The season two episode "Journey to Stone City" features a blink-and-you'll-miss-it second of animation. It's not often we get to see the Sorceress looking shocked (she's always such a calming character), but for a few frames of animation as Vokan attacks Castle Grayskull we see her at her most wide-eyed!

Always great to see expressions on favourite characters. There are so few real expressions on the characters' faces that you would usually need a big moment for them (Teela in shock from "Teela's Quest" or He-Man worried from "Happy Birthday Roboto").

Awesome picture, its really cool to see different animations on any of the characters but especially on the Sorceress as, as you say she is mainly calm.

Another great piece of information :)

Excellent pic, Busta!

I've gotta say that I love, love, LOVE the Filmation Sorceress. And I've got a great idea for a Fan Art for Valentines Day featuring the fine feathered one.

A fine inclusion, James! :) I remembered when you featured this image in your review of this episode, back when you ran the "Episode Review Website." :)

On this occasion, when The Sorceress summons He-Man to Castle Grayskull, she appears to be more calm, whereas in episodes like "The Dragon Invasion" and "Daimar The Demon," she is way more upset and worried when she calls on He-Man.

"Valley of Power" features another great shot of an amusing expression from The Sorceress, when she smiles after Teela and Orko leave Castle Grayskull after she gives them the formula ... I loved when you featured that image from the episode review on the old website. :)

Finally, I hope you feature that one crazy scene in "To Save Skeletor," when Sh'Gora transforms The Sorceress into an evil servant of his ... Her expression is both hilarious and downright evil! Plus her laugh sounds like the wicked witch from "The Wizard of Oz!" :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...
