Now character origins are always very much up in the air depending on the writer and the canon. In issue twenty-two of the UK
Masters of the Universe comic
The Secret Files of Scrollos tells us that
Evil-Lyn was once a young woman who possessed magical powers, surprisingly serving
King Randor and
Queen Marlena in the royal household!
Scrollos then tells us that upon learning of
Skeletor's presence on Eternia the young woman used her magical powers to transform herself into Evil-Lyn and asked to join Skeletor's army. Personally I prefer this origin for Evil-Lyn more than the often-mentioned co-pilot aboard Queen Marlena's ship...

really??. I personally cant stand the whole the 3 were pilots together. I think it takes away from the uniqueness of the characters. I just prefer it that they were all( except marlena) born on enternia and just picked a side in the war

Wow wow !! This info is amazing.
This origin for Evil Lyn is great and goes well with the character.
The UK comics are amazing!!
This origin-story sounds most promising, if only for the one line about "hatred against the queen" because stuff like that is what makes story come to alive.
Howdy
Awesome, character origins are ace :)

it's stuff like this that I love James! I never have been able to read the UK comics (to expensive to collect them) so this type of stuff is always new to me. Thanks.
What I'd like to know is why Evil-Lyn began working for the King and Queen in the first place, if she resented Queen Marlena??? :)
A nice hair style (...and color!) for Evil-Lyn's earlier form, here! Her expression is similar to the few occasions when she glares at Teela in disgust, from "The Witch And The Warrior!" LOL :)
Aside from the fact that he has no beard in this comic, this version of King Randor appears to be more serious than his cartoon likeness!
Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Yes, I never liked the spacecraft-passenger idea either.
Not just 'cos it is current, but I think my favourite is the bio for the forthcominc MOTUC Evil-Lyn figure.
I am not sure I liked this one either..why would she transform inot Evil Lyn..I mean it sounds much better than having jealousy over earthling Marlena Glenn's story. Yet I like her better as the daughter of teh Faceless one once in love with Keldor
I did not know this story! I had only read the Bible's Masters of the Universe! This source is MOST Promising and more interesting. Is good to have several sources from which to obtain information ... in this case, the comic! Good job James, as always!
