In the opening story of the first issue of the UK
Masters of the Universe comic we are treated to the origins of
Eternia, and introduced to the three main groups, the
Heroic Warriors, the
Evil Warriors and the
Evil Horde. These images were somewhat odd in places, none so more than the Evil Warriors image. Incorporating an assortment of styles the artist also mixed up the characters;
Clawful has hands, and even more startling
Kobra Khan has somehow acquired
Trap Jaw's robotic arm!

Clawful with hands?! Kobra Kahn with bio-mech arm?! We found two more variants! How long have you been sitting on this info?
Maybe the artist's co-worker did what we did as kids, and switched out the arms on these guys before the guy started to work. I hate it when that happens.
Kobra Khan looks like a pirate, here! :) Since Trap-Jaw is cropped at the neck, who knows if he was given different arms/hands, also?
Evil-Lyn is illustrated beautifully, here, whereas Mer-Man looks the most hideous he's ever looked in the comics! :)
Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

The artist had no idea what kind of weapon that Clawful carries. Here he holds a sword instead of a mace.
I think the artist should have added a pistol for Kobra Khan's right hand instead of a hook.
LOL This panel with such errors feels to me like they had some knock-off MOTU toys to refer for the illustration.
Also very interesting to see Kobra Khan listed under Skeletor's command.
This is what makes the UK comics so special! As strange as all the drastic changes are...I would've accepted them all if I saw them as a child!
