Light Spinner?

In issue twenty-three of the UK Masters of the Universe comic The Secret Files of Scrollos revealed a fascinating origin for a Princess of Power cast member! It is told that Shadow Weaver was once a young sorceress called Light Spinner (get it?), who was taught the "evil ways of the dark force" by Hordak! I like this origin, albeit rather brief, for Shadow Weaver, because it makes mention of Hordak's magical skills, something he would vigorously turn his back on in favor of Horde science.

Is there anything that mentions how Light Spinner felt about dark magic or the Horde before Hordak turned her?
I know that is only a snippet of the story, but it really makes it sound like Hordak just walked up to a sorceress and turned her to evil.....

Light Spinner was the name os Shadow Weaver huh? I think this is a very nice origin for the character. Weaver is the coolest and most powerful Horde member after Hordak so she diserves a great origin and backstory.

I said it before and I'll say it again the UK comics are the best!!

Does this mean that in the perpetual fight between the evil Horde & the Rebels that somehow in futures issues there were plans to have Shadow Weaver renounce Hordak and become good Light Spinner once again? Was this part of the overall plan for the defeat of Hordak by the forces of good?

Interesting - No?

Light Spinner looks like the kind of woman I'd like to take out to dinner and a movie, and maybe for ice cream after that! :)

The Filmation artists, I'm sure, would have created a beautiful rendition of this character, had this story been made into an actual She-Ra episode.

Those demons (or whatever those creatures are) on the right-hand panel sure are spooky!

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...
