Evil-Dye?

In the comments section of the Short black hair? post a few days back Aidan "Mosquitor" Cross requested a look at Evil-Lyn with black hair, instead of the white hair that Filmation gave her. So here is our favorite witch with her newly dyed black hair! Personally I'm not sure what to make of it...

Howdy

I think it looks better, but its still too short, it should have been long hair just tied up, like Leia but not in buns.

It doesn't happen too often but I think this is a prime example of Paul Dini being wrong. God bless whoever in the animation department ignored his recommendation for Evil Lyn's hair color.

She looks better with white hair.

Well....I guess she now has some resemblance to Ursa-woman from "Superman II"-movie.

Thanks for doing that James! Now I've seen it I agree that the white hair probably did suit that style better... although I agree with chris m that it would have been better long!

As an added thought following my last post- Paul Dini once said that Evil-Lyn was his favorite character because at the time he was going out with someone who looked like her... perhaps his girlfriend had short black hair, hence why he originally described her like that?

Aidan: That's what I was thinking when I mentioned it on the earlier post of white hair. Paul propably had a certain image in his mind...;)

The hairstyles of both Una ("Masks of Power") and Kareen ("Wizard of Stone Mountain") would have looked nice on Evil-Lyn, in my eyes (I guess as a "runner up")! :)

While I'm thinking of it, I wonder what the hairstyle of The Enchantress, from "Search For The Past," would have looked like, if she actually did have a hairstyle under her head-dress?!

It's too bad that Evil-Lyn never made a guest appearance anywhere in the She-Ra series, while on the subject of Evil-Lyn!

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

~Kevin :)
