Convenient Statue.

Issue eight of the UK Masters of the Universe comic featured a story titled "He-Man the Powerless." In the first few panels we see something that I like to call the "convenient statue." As Skeletor is ready with his new plan to take over Eternia he destroys a statue of He-Man in front of his Evil Warriors. I always laugh at the idea that somehow the Lord of Destruction obtains a statue, maybe has one carved for him, only for the purpose of destroying it to emphasize a threat!

Yeah is just one of those things you have to question. LOL

A similar thing happens in the episode "Song of Celice" where Skeletor has a perfect sculpture of Grayskull made from a piece of rock tha was stolen from the Castle.

I know I often keep statues of my enemies on hand. Just in case.

LOL :) Evil-Lyn has a look on her face like: "Hey, that's not a bad idea!"
Webstor looks like: "I can't believe he just did that!"
Whiplash appears to find Skeletor's actions quite amusing! :)

This scene reminds me of another moment from "Song Of Celice," when Evil-Lyn uses her magic to tie up a giant statue of Skeletor in rope, as she explains to Trap-Jaw, "I'd like to see the real Skeletor all wrapped up like that!" Plus, we get to see the statue of Skeletor again, in one brief shot from "The Magic Falls." :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Like Kevin said, I too was reminded of the scene where Evil-Lyn magically ropes the Giant Statue of Skeletor, only to be suprised when Skeletor appears behind her.

And all the great villains have statues of the heroes they are trying to defeat. xD
