The Trollan revelation.

One of my favorite scenes from the He-Man series appears in the season one episode "Dawn of Dragoon." The scene begins as Cringer rants to Prince Adam and Orko about the world of Trolla, complaining that everything is backwards! What follows is one of the most memorable scenes in the series. Adam's sudden realization is captured perfectly by the animators as he concludes that the backwards rule applies to his transformation. The thing I love about this scene is that it is pure He-Man and the Masters of the Universe! No other show could get away with such an implausible plot deceive, but because this occurs in the He-Man show we accept it without hesitation!

For your listening pleasure, Thing's are backwards here...

Prince Adam looks as if he made the greatest discovery of all mankind, when he figures out how to transform. :)

Funny how the Sword of Power started blazing forth IN THE MIDDLE of Adam's backwards chant, like the sword knew enough what Adam was going to say! LOL :)

Too bad He-Man didn't say, "I Have The Power" in reverse, as well ... I was kind of hoping for that when I first remembered this scene! Still a fantastic caption. :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Howdy

I love this ep and yes that realisation is awesome.

However I to wish he would have said "Grayskul of Power the By"....."Power the have I".

It's little wonder this is one of the most-remembered episodes; the transformation scene naturally had very few variations as it was a stock sequence.

So when a variation did turn up it usually stuck out, and this one has got to be the most radical ones in the entire series!

I still like Cringer's transformation into Battlecat in "House of Shokoti" though, when it comes to those 'rare' variations!

This works well because it is something we can expect from Trolla, especially. :)

And like Chris said, I too wish he would have said the second half of his magic-words in backwards as well for the complete effect. :)
