Battle royal!

In issue one of the UK Masters of the Universe comic in a story titled "Skeletor's Surprise" we are treated to a fun battle royal between the forces of good and evil. While the artwork is not anything to get excited about I always thought the way in which each of the panels showcased one particular hero against one particular villain worked very well!

Very cool indeed. Those panels show what I always wanted to see in the classic toon, battles just like these ones.

When it comes to the artwork, I agree with you, James ... The colors have a rather "washed out" tone, as well. Two-Bad appears to be the most amusing looking character, here, on a humorous note. :)

Poor Jitsu! It looks like one of the rocks just came down and hit him on the shoulder ... Oooh! That's brutal!

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

While it's a great thing to see how an evil character "pairs up" with a good guy, what I find odd here is that the narration-box suddenly is revealed to be He-Man talking all along.

Now...either He-Man wanted to narrate at the same time he was fighting and could see what others were doing... OR he had the ability to hear what narrator for the comic was talking so he could beat him to the punch-line at the end. (Reminds me of Freakazoid-cartoon where the characters might comment on how loud the narrator was speaking in a moment when they had to be very quiet) :D
