Red and Yellow Snake Men!

Who are the red and yellow Snake Men I hear you ask? Issue twenty-seven of the UK Masters of the Universe comic has a story titled "Clan of the Viper!", and in this very story we are introduced to Rattlor and Tung Lashor. Yes, Rattlor and Tung Lashor, the two Snake Men who look different in every single canon! I am not sure at what point Tung Lashor decided to start wearing red lipstick though...

I've never read one of the UK comics, though I really want to, based on some of the sheer zaniness of these pictures! Very odd colouring for those two there!
By any chance would you be able to post something from the UK new adventures comics? As I've never seen anything from those either! :)

It was the 80s... Tung Lashor realized he was coming into the 80s so he mastered the New Romantic look in perfect time ;)

King Hiss' comment about The Sword of Power being cast into the "Cosmic Pool" reminds me of Darkdream's threat to Evil-Lyn in "Eternal Darkness," regarding Evil-Lyn's wand being cast back into the "Dark Pool from which it came" ... Or something like that. :)

Just by looking at King Hiss' gruesome appearance, it's fortunate that he wasn't featured in the He-Man or She-Ra cartoons ... Probably would have scared the youngsters at the time! As for Tung Lashor's appearance here, now that's even more scary! :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

I wonder why every canon show us these characters so differently. Why these two huh?
Poor Snake Men :(

I beleive this has to be the worst version of them. Or is there another one I haven't seen yet? Only time will tell.
But in the mean time I am sure this has to be the worst one.

As I posted on another recent blog entry, while far better than anything I could ever hope to do, I was never really very keen on most of the UK comic's artwork. It just looked so rushed and off-model and... just wrong!
