The Master with Three Faces #1

I am a HUGE fan of the Netherlands Masters of the Universe comics, specifically the comics published by SBP! Now, I do not speak Dutch at all, but over the years I have conversed with many fans that do, and have come to understand the stories that were published. I always found the comics to be extremely odd and, at times, very different when compared to the more familiar stories published by the major comic companies. In 1988 London Edition Comics, the company that produced the Masters of the Universe comic in the UK, collected a few of these stories, translated them into English, and released them together in one special. Here I present the first three pages of "The Master with Three Faces"; a unique tale focusing on the conflict between Man-E-Faces split personalities!

Sorceress is dressed like a cave-woman, here!

One other occasion I've seen a magical portal in the ground is in "Bargain With Evil."

Great job with the intense look on the face of Man-E-Faces, and also on the face of The Sorceress, in the second panel. :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

That comic looks soo cool! It seems so much more creative than most of what came out of STAR and some of the minicomics.

You have to love the position of The Sorceress' leg in the first panel. It's like she's casually leaning against that tree chatting when that scream comes up out of nowhere....

Also, is it my imagination, or does that buff-colored costume make Sorceress look nude when she's seen from the back? If not for her hand being a couple or three shades lighter and a peep of visible hem, I'd swear she was naked near the end there!
