Coloring Tongue Lasher!

Tung! Tung Lash! Tongue Lasher! The character with more names and spellings than any other in the entire He-Man and She-Ra series is presented here in all his glory! I remember as a child being surprised by the color scheme given to this character, as it bore little resemblance to the action figure's colors. This color guide proves that it was always intentional to give the character such a vast array of colors!

While I prefer the design and color scheme used for the toy version of this villain over the cartoon version, I'm glad that the cartoon version is more comical, especially in the "Book Burning" episode! Ex: "The Rebels are really bad!" A job well done, by the animators, on this model sheet of Tongue Lasher. :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

The toy is superior in many ways. I like this Tung Lashor but the toy is just better.

I still wonder why Filmation changed his original toy design for this much simpler and totally different one.

Any idea?

Yeah! And when he and Rattlor were released as toys over here (as late as 1987!) it was a real surprise to see the difference. I always craved for a King Hiss cartoon appearance, but no way.
