Procrustus!

One of my favorite characters that I wish had made an appearance in the cartoon was the Eternian God Procrustus who appeared in the DC minicomic "The Magic Stealer!" The character played an important, albeit brief, role in the comic where it is revealed that the giant held the inner world together with his four arms!

A haunting and exciting tale! Procrustus reminds me a bit of King Tamask from "The Time Wheel."

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

The Mythology of MOTU is what I always loved. I always had this idea in the back of my head about Sky Tree and Protocrustus’s link to the Star Seed and the origins of Eternia. Something I think Halperin’s Filmation Bible lacked was a creation myth...

I liked that Skeletor had a device and/or scheme that actually messed with a god.

I've discussed Procrustus on he-man.org several times. I love the character, and I too wish he had been used more.

I love the mythical feel of the early mini-comics; I was never so keen later on when things turned more sci-fi and space-y (even pre NA).

BTW, "The Magic Stealer!" was the first mini-comic that I got with my first MOTU figure (He-Man), and remember my grandfather sitting in the garden that afternoon reading the story to me.
