Robin Davies had shifted over to a more
Filmation-inspired look. Even though the castle still retains the look that the Ladybird books had established, this illustration highlights cartoon-inspiration with an angle of
Castle Grayskull often shown in the animated series...

Very true, James! That was my first impression, too. :) Check out the rope coming from Battlecat's saddle, as well!
Fantastic color and artwork, once again, and I like how the interior of the castle (from looking through the doorway) also looks to be inspired by the design from the cartoon series. :)
