Clawdeen dozing...

One thing I do like about Glenn Steward's style in the "She-Ra and the Golden Goose" Ladybird book is that Clawdeen is illustrated perfectly! The large glamorous cat does not look ridiculous like the toy, or too aggressive like the Filmation version, retaining a cunning look throughout the book. If I had one criticism of Robin Davies' artwork on She-Ra, it would be that his Clawdeen never looked quite right...

I don't own any ladybird books, but I've always wanted to. This image is so perfect, thanks for sharing it. I love that Catra is in her Scratchin' Sound suit.

Love Clawdeen's expression. :) That saddle looks like it weighs a ton! Also looks like Catra got her hands on a Golden Goose, from the original "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory" movie. :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Indeed, Clawdeen is striking (especially the texturing around her saddle)--but Scratchin' Sound Catra is exquisite!
