Happy Birthday He-Man #6 - Adam's jacket.
In some of the UK Masters of the Universe annuals the artists would illustrate Prince Adam with very different designs to that of his Filmation appearance. Many of these interpretations would be based on the design that appeared in the DC comic "From Eternia With Death!" In this illustration from the 1986 annual Prince Adam is sporting a green jacket with yellow trim, and yes, Teela is now a blonde, but that has been seen before. It would have been interesting to see this color scheme on the character. And maybe that is something I will do...

Teela looked alot like She-Ra there.
Prince Adam is illustrated in the same style as Faker, from the illustration that appeared within the 25th May 2007 post: "Remaining Evil!" Another beautiful version of Teela, as well. :)

Could this be the famous 'Great New Jacket' Adam promised he would show to Teela? She doesn't look very impressed. But this rendition of her certainly impresses me.
I supuse in this picture Adam is showing Teela "his new jacket", as he had promised, saying in one episode: "By the way Teela, remind me to show you my new jacket" in the interrupted transormation sequence!
I really like how they would have Adam in different colored jackets or vests. This image is very pretty!
I love the depiction of both of them here. I always wanted them to wear more outfits in the cartoon, but at least the comics and annuals did that for us.
