Here is an impressive page from the storyboards of the season one
He-Man episode
"House of Shokoti" Part 2 illustrated beautifully by
Robert Lamb. As you will see Robert illustrated a panning shot and instructed the director how the camera should move throughout the across the scene. Also it is interesting to read
Larry DiTillio's lengthy description for the sanctum of
Shokoti, which Robert followed to the letter!

Very well-detailed and atmospheric panning shot illustrated by Mr. Lamb. :) The notes are like something out of a science fiction novel ... They create an image in the reader's mind, even without the visuals!
In addition, I just love the panning shots that show the camera rotating the angle ... It pushes the animation that extra mile, as opposed to scrolling in the basic horizontal or vertical directions. :)
Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Cool stuff!
When will this site get updated next?
i'm missing it!
Such an awesome panning shot--and I have always loved the giant statue of Shakoti above her throne. Mr. Lamb is so talented, and I'm so glad he worked on the series!
