We must climb down...
Robert Lamb's "Into the Abyss" is without a doubt one of the most character-driven episode in the series. After Teela has fallen into the abyss surrounding Castle Grayskull we know that the episode's second act will become a rescue story. Even so the character development is still there with the cast in shock realizing that Teela is down in the abyss. When the rescue attempt begins we have no idea what we are about to learn until Prince Adam raises the Sword of Power and the abyss begins to react...

You really "Get The Power" when watching this scene! I love the build-up of events, when it comes to "The Power Of Grayskull!" Too bad He-Man's "I Have The Power" is out of sync with the animation, but it is still a splendid moment in the series. :)

And we finally get to see where exactly all this power and glow in He-Man's transformation sequence comes from. A great scene. :)
The only redeemable part of this episode is this scene! I could never understand why everyone ranks this episode so high when the one sequence is the only part thats discussed. Its an awesome sequence though...awesome!
