Millions and Billions!
An interesting moment occurs during the season one He-Man episode "Quest for He-man". When the evil Plundor begins to imagine the great wealth he will soon acquire we see his vision which unsurprisingly shows lots of money. But what is surprising is that we see dollar bill signs!

I've found a safe haven in the Eternia dollar as the US Dollar continues to weaken.
That IS amusing! I get a kick out of the fact that this is supposed to be an imaginary image of Plundor's, not an actual image in the story, plus the pearls add an elegant touch to the image. :)

It was Plundor... That was Before he became the Energizer Bunny... so he reached his dreams!!
So it's true, the currency of the universe is....US Dollars.
The Pound Stirling is doomed! :D
Still it's a nice bit of added humour there by the artists, who probably wouldn't mind that other planets have US dollars as the legal tender, so they could probably experience what it's like being in intergalactic cinemas, checking out the Masters of the Universe movie in alien languages. :D Unless they for some reason also speak English like the modern day Eternians do, thanks to Queen Marlena's night school for English. :D
