Skeletor's neck.

In this quite graphic illustration from the Ladybird book "The Iron Master" we can see one of the rare occasions when an artist decided to draw Skeletor's sinewy neck. Thankfully Robin Davies did not continue to do this and stuck closely to the traditional Skeletor look. It is interesting to see how Skeletor looks with a neck, but personally I have always preferred the idea of a floating head, or at least no visible neck!

Yes, that is one wicked looking neck! The image of Skeletor as seen at the tail end of the original He-Man introduction is good enough for me. :) The detail on both the skull and the Havoc Staff looks fantastic and so does the crimson red background. Thanks for reading! God Bless...

Brazilian Greetings!

Yes... a floating head creats a creepy atmosphere.

I remember back in the 80's here in Brazil, Skeletor's was really scary for me. Here, there is an entity called "Exu Caveira" (Pronounce: A - shoo Cah - Vay - rah) - A spirit worshiped on Brazilian's santeria.

See some photos of Exu Caveira here:

Diferente from the popular image of Death (skull under a hood) and Exu Caveira, what really makes Skeletor really scary is his strong type body. He is powerfull! The Death is skinny also Exu Caveira, but Skeletor is a beef cake!

Very spooky!
