Orko's smiling!

A while back I was watching "The Curse of the Spellstone" from season one of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and noticed Orko's little smile peeking through his cowl, as he demonstrates his less that magical powers to Prince Adam. Personally, I always enjoyed the early season one animation of Orko, because outside of the stock animation sequences, the animators all had their own unique way of illustrating the character.

"The Curse of the Spellstone" is one of those early episodes, that really bring out the fantasy-sorcery aspect to He-Man. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fire-People and wish they could have been featured more.

Wow! Missed this one! We can sort of make out an actual face on Orko, this time around. :) "Colossor Awakes" is a perfect example of an episode that featured very fluid animation for Orko.

It's nice how, in this featured scene, the viewers are treated to brand new animation for Prince Adam ... His hair appears to be a bit more longer and puffy than usual, too! Thanks for reading and God Bless!

That's interesting, I'd never noticed that before. The early UK comics often used to draw Orko's facial expression showing through his muffler.

But the big question is, how does Orko smile and speak at the same time? Oh, wait, I forgot. He's a wizard.
