Here is an interesting piece of development artwork of
Madame Razz, as featured in the
She-Ra Series Bible. It is obvious where the origins of her character design come from, and here we see she is illustrated as a typically cartoon witch in her earliest designs. What I like about this piece is that the style of illustration and character design is far removed from the style that
Filmation often employed in their shows.

Looks like a character from a Disney movie! Good thing the design was changed to more of an original style, but I do find the big shoes and pockets quite amusing. :)
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

This is totally Madam Mimm! The Sword in the stone is my favorite Disney Movie. I wonder who the artist is that did the sketches for the bible and if they worked for Disney.
This Razz could be a leftover from an old Hanna Barbera cartoon. Or even an early Filmation one like those Groovy Ghoulies.
Wow, what a vast transformation. Almost reminds me of Emu's nemesis Grotbags! Always surprising how they go from the concept to final character!
Madame Mim's design is pretty nice!! I mean.. Razz!!
This is so painful to look at! She looks like she should be stirring a witches brew!
