Teela does not look impressed.

In this illustration by Robin Davies from the He-Man Ladybird book "He-Man meets the Beast" Teela appears to be less than impressed with Orko. This was one of the first times the artist drew Orko in the series. His later interpretation of the character would resemble the Filmation design even more.

I think she was just being sceptical- with good reason. :)

Still, Orko was far less annoying in the Ladybird books than he was in the TV show!

For some strange reason, this image makes me think of a scene in the Filmation episode, "The Eternia Flower," where our heroes are trapped in Count Marzo's force-field, and Teela tells Orko, "Please don't," in response to Orko offering to try a spell to free everyone! Usually, we would see an expression like this on Man-At-Arms in the Filmation cartoon, in regard to Orko's magic goof-ups. :) A perfect likeness of the cartoon version of Orko here. :)
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

Teela's face reminds me of Ursulla Andress here. Or any other Italian starlett from the Sixties and Seventies with luscious lips.

Wonder what Orko did to get Teela in this kind of mood. I love how these book give a wide range of emotions to Teela.
