The original
Masters of the Universe card backs featured fantastic artwork of each of the characters released as action figures. This piece showcasing
Evil-Lyn, as she spies on
He-Man, was featured as a pin-up in issue sixty of the UK
Masters of the Universe comic. I love the way in which Evil-Lyn is sat, as she focuses her magic through her wand.

LOVE this image of good 'ol Evil-Lyn! She looks so manipulative and cunning. Reminds me of story lines that were depicted in my old colouring books of her being so jealous of Teela, etc.
Do you have any good images of those?
Thanks!
Agreed! There's nothing like Evil-Lyn with wild mushrooms and snakes on the side. :) Excellent use of color here, especially the oranges of the sunset and the yellows of Evil-Lyn's skin!
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

Such a great image! The Evil-Lyn and, later, the Sorceress card-back art were amongst my favorites!
I love this image, it's kinda engraved in my brain. When the He-Man sticker album came out here in Argentina (sticker is a way to call it, cause you actually had to glue the cards to the album, cause stickers were still too new to produce them for a colection of cards, I guess)
There were soft card-photo-"sticker"images and hard cardboard ones, they all went in the same album but the cardboard ones, had puzzle images on the other side and that image was one of those you get a zillion times every 100 packs of cards.
This is a great image of Evil-Lyn. I believe they used the same pose of her for one of the vintage MOTU lunchboxes, but they reversed the pose.
I always thought it was a very smart way of pairing He-Man with Evil-Lyn on the box art like this without having to resort to them fighting each other. And of course Lyn is very sexy without the cape.
Evil Lyn looks fantastic here and makes the character live up to her name with that being evil!
You know, I never questioned Evil-Lyn's action figure as being yellow, but seeing her all yellow in print just doesn't look right at all! Very unsettling!
I always wondered if she was able to do this. Wouldn't she have found out that Adam was He-Man this way? But the art used on the card art was always great to see!
This is what I miss from the MOTUC-- the great box art. Boy I glad you shared this.
