"Altered States" #1
"Altered States" from issue six of the Masters of the Universe Adventure magazine is a memorable and unique story. Actually, it is the story that features the overweight version of He-Man I featured a few days back; so that should give you something to look forward to. Here I present the first three pages of this entertaining story.

Looks like a full-on drug metaphor... 'some trip', indeed!
WOW! That second panel should be a poster! Those various colored crystal formations are impressive. :) The cavern featured reminds me of the Cave of the Singing Crystal, from "Not So Blind" and Rainbow Tunnel from "Here, There, Skeletors Everywhere." :) Orko's dialog sounds more like the way Man-At-Arms or The Sorceress speaks, on this occasion! Finally, I get a kick out of the nickname, "TITANIC TWOSOME." :)
