Spirit gallops!
Here is an interesting illustration from the She-Ra Ladybird book "Catra's Ice Palace". Even though his art is questionable at times, Geoff Senior manages to capture a beautiful illustration of Spirit galloping as if his life depended on it!

Seems pretty logical to me Spirit would want to get out of the land of Snows as quickly as possible. his poor cold hooves!
