Action-packed snapshot!
Here is an action packed, and somewhat poorly illustrated piece of animation artwork from the He-Man episode "She-Demon of Phantos". Throughout this episode there is a great deal of strange animation, much of which occurs during the action sequences. Note that whilst Mer-Man looks predictably shocked, Man-At-Arms almost looks as if he's sitting down, slightly shocked.

Ah, a prelude to the November 24 post from 2009. :) Man-At-Arms' legs look too short here! What I find to be a hoot is that Mer-Man's expression in this still looks almost like the animation of him raising his arms in anger, during the flashback scene from "Teela's Quest." :)

I love Filmation art, but one thing that they never did do well (IMHO) was smoke--that little puff of smoke there just looks so very...cartoonish.
