Animated Evil-Lyn!

In one of the first few shots from the episode "The Cosmic Comet", we see Evil-Lyn drawn off-model, but not in a bad way. Not only is this a unique shot of the character, but she is animated with a great deal of fluidity, as opposed to a reliance on Filmation's stock system.

AWESOME ... FILMATION CARTOON POST!!! Lots to say on this one. Thanks to James' research, this episode was the first produced in the He-Man series, so what a way to begin things ... Use brand new animation for the characters. :) Evil-Lyn's facial expressions and body movements are much like the animated Disney fairytale female characters! One moment that I find really amusing is that when Evil-Lyn uses her powers, via her glowing eyes, she opens her mouth for a dramatic facial expression, just before the shot changes over to the setting of Castle Grayskull, for this scene ... I always got a kick out of that. :) I also enjoyed the effects of the dark teal colored clouds that covered the evening skies, for this setting ... Those clouds were also used to great effect in the storm scene from "Keeper of the Ancient Ruins," but that's another story. :) Outstanding observation and image to post here, James!
Thanks SO much for taking the time to read, everyone, and God Bless! :)

Here, Evil-Lyn really looks as though she has been modelled on Sarah Douglas' Ursa from the Superman movies! Looks the favor was returned in Beastmaster!

she's so sexy when she looks condecending. Meanwhile Beat Man is stuck on model, not having a clue what all the fuzz is about...
