The Snake Armor.

In my personal opinion one of the greatest things to come out of the 2002 Masters of the Universe toyline was He-Man's Snake Armor. Up until that point the in the toyline the He-Man figure variants had been pointless, and more than often just plain silly. Snake Armor He-Man not only served a purpose within the toyline, but creatively was one of the best-looking He-Man variants since the Masters of the Universe brand started in the early eighties! Usually I am not a fan of asymmetrical costume designs, but something about this costume worked incredibly well. While the cartoon gave the armor credibility, the toy itself was beautifully sculpted, and one of the few from that line that I actually wanted to own...

This is like a "Trap-Jaw" sort of thing. :) Wonder what it would have been like to see attire like the "Battle Armor" gear put to use in the Filmation cartoon?!
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

Clearly the only good thing to come out of that whole snake-man fiasco! I hated the whole line that killed the snake men and force fed us variants! but that snake armor is fantastic!

Did you ever got one?? i agree with you James!! it's a nice looking outfit... (even better that the cocktail suit or the night gaun), it's a shame battle went over board with all the He-Man/Skeletor outfits!!

I totally agree with you on the Snake Armor goodness. I would think that this really puts the Snake Hunter figure to shame. A fantastic figure and one i was happy to pick up!

One of the best designs to come out of the 200X series along with the Ice Armor He-Man. The idea of He-Man able to use the sword to create armor to suit a situation was a great idea. Gave him a bit more in the ability department. And the figure was very cool! And one of the best out of all the stupid variants that killed the lein.

I love the sculpt of the Snake Armor He-Man figure too. The only thing I didn't like was the oversized sword. I know it opened up, but man was it big!
