What I loved about the letters column that appeared in the UK
Masters of the Universe comic is that either they did not want to associate themselves with the cartoon, or more likely they did not know too much about the cartoon. The writer of this letter that appeared in issue sixty-six is clearly referencing the
She-Ra episodes in which we saw both
Rattlor and
Tung Lashor serve the
Horde. I like how
Scrollos flat out denies that the
Snakemen ever served Hordak!

I'm pretty sure they were ex-Horde in the mini-comics too. Hardly a stroke of genius, effectively to co-opt two existing toys/characters into the new Snakemen range - along with the marvellous Kobra Khan water squirting figure as well - but a pretty neat justification in the back-up story.
The Snake Men VERSUS Hordak would have been amusing. :) The origin of Hordak sounds interesting ... He DOES seem like the alien type, now that I've read this article!
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

There was another issue where a reader expressed confusion over why the cartoon showed Roboto arriving from another planet when the minicomics had him built by Man-At-Arms. Scrollos' response was "The TV series often makes changes to the characters and their stories"!
They refused to serve Hordak because he was a bad tipper.
