For ardent fans of the
She-Ra series the character of
Dylamug was most impressive upon his first appearance. In
"Duel at Devlan" the character's robot-like persona gave him an edge over the other villains of the
Evil Horde; it always felt like he could be unpredictably cold-blooded at any second. However, when the character shows up again in the season two episode
"Shades of Orko" he is portrayed as nothing more than a buffoon; easily one of the stupidest members of the Evil Horde. Did someone reprogram him?

Speaking of him, there's an unused MOTU toy design that looks a lot like him.
Couldn't agree with you more, James! Even the way Dylamug talks, in the latter episode, sounds a bit on the "dopey" side. :) He came across as the perfect "bully," in his first appearance, though, and his classic insane laughter was priceless! :)
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

But Dylamug was obviously suffering from multiple personalities in Duel at Devlan, talking in two distinctly different voices and all. His season two appearance could well be a third personality coming to the foreground. I remember having a hard time catching his name whenever he was on. It was so unusual that I was never quite sure what they said, the few times they did call him by name.
