A change in the transformation #1

I am always fascinated by the fact that the Adora to She-Ra transformation sequence was altered after the first five episodes. Surprisingly, it is something that not too many people have noticed over the years. In these two images below you can see that the first image from "She-Ra Unchained" features Adora stood at Castle Grayskull without the jaw-bridge. In the second image from "Duel at Devlan" you can see that the jaw-bridge is now firmly in place. What amazes me is that by deciding to insert the jaw-bridge into the transformation they would have had to re-animate this entire complicated sequence of special effects-laded animation!

Never noticed this, James! This makes me think of the sequence with the closing credits for He-Man, where an animated drawbridge for Castle Grayskull was featured for some of the later episodes. I can see that the sky looks different and the special effects are brighter in the second image shown here. Great discovery, Sir. :)
Thanks for reading! God Bless!

There's also the regular sequence in wich Adora rises her sword before transformation, you can see a sleeve of her vest being painted yellow instead of red, that was corrected in another sequence, but I remember the one with the error being used most of the time. I've also heard that the whole transformation sequence was shot more than once, four times if I'm correct, so there are like four sets of animation cells for that sequence.
