In the first episode of
The New Adventures of He-Man,
"A New Beginning", we see
Skeletor served by a very tall warrior called
Andros. This villain appeared to fit the role of generic evil henchman. The reason for this character's appearance is more than likely because those working on the show were unable to use existing
Filmation villains, or were deterred from using characters like
Beast Man who were based on old action figures. Many years ago I compared Andros to the one-shot villain
Goat Man. But that is another post for another time...

Looks like a villain best suited for "Thundercats." :)
~"KevyGuy" :)

Goat boy makes the other evil warrior look like good help.
Even as a kid I thought he was a weak looking villain. He just looked like a tribal leader for a band of goat warriors that would answer to goat man.
Ah, you're right on the money when you mentioned 'old action figures'. Seeing as though none of the old figures are avaliable now, they could only promote the new ones, Skeletor and He-Mna being the obvious expeptions.
Well I didn't know there was a character called Goat Man, no doubt he's action figure would have certanly been Andros for sure. :D
