The Sorceress' other throne...

In the season one He-Man episode "The Remedy" we see that the Sorceress has another throne in Castle Grayskull. More than often we saw her upon the ominous central throne of the castle. This throne however is positioned much like the one found within the Castle Grayskull playset. It should also be noted that this throne appears to reside in one of the castle's turrets. That said, "The Remedy" is a unique episode visually, so this may just be the artists trying something new...

It's good to know she's got more than one chair in that place.

We see this throne again in "Into Etheria" during the opening pan in the Sorceress' bedroom. It's where she curls up with a good tome before hitting the sack.

For a change, the heroes don't have to look up while they speak to The Sorceress, so they can rest their necks. :) I also noticed the "fade to black" moments before and after the "revolving sword" transition segments used twice in the episode, which is also unique! Thanks for reading! God Bless!

Sorry, James: What did you mean that this one is placed like the one in the playset?

And the background art for the turret / Sorceress' bedroom is amongst my favorite FIlmation art. (Probably because the Sorceress is my favorite character...)

This "little throne" always seemed so out of place to me. It always reminded me of a chair with an umbrella that people use at the beach to shade them from the sun.

Doesnt look as comfy as her main throne in the castle. Do we see any other rooms apart from this one?

Zack's right; this throne appears to be in her bedroom. Which raises the question why she would meet with Man-At-Arms and Adam in her bedroom.

Just seems like an odd place to bring one's guests, at least for most people... ;)
