The castle of King Jared.

"The Crown of Knowledge" is a very unique She-Ra episode with a plot that does not feel at all like an average episode of the series. Here is a beautiful panning shot seen in the episode showing the landscape upon which King Jared's castle sits. The way in which the sky is painted from day to night is impressive, as are the harsh clouds that seem to rear up behind the castle. No points for spotting Loo-Kee though; it was always fairly easy...

The transition is impressive. I have to say, I've been enjoying this blog quite a bit recently and have caught up on all the entries. I think my favorites are looks at the always impressive filmation backgrounds. I love that stuff. Your Skull Path post inspired me to build the dio seen here: http://thefwoosh.com/2011/02/motuc-review-bow

This shot is much like a panning shot from "Secret of the Sword," which also features a gradual change in the skies! Nice touch on the bright orange tone of the castle ... Looks like the sun beamed down on that section. :) Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)

The use of colors was done well. I feel like that gives this shot the added effect it needed. The use of colors can be very helpful in adding depth to a visual piece in a cartoon.
