Here is the first of four highly memorable illustrations from the 1981
Masters of the Universe Licensee Book. These illustrations were reproduced on many
Masters of the Universe items at the height of its popularity! This illustration was clearly influenced by the first ever
Masters of the Universe minicomic
"He-Man and the Power Sword" on the cover of which we see
He-Man and
Man-At-Arms fighting with
Skeletor and
Beast Man.

It was always amusing to see this version of Beast-Man appear to be about the height of the giant version of Skeletor, featured in "The Dragon Invasion," in proportion to He-Man! Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)
Seeing this image gives me memories of going to school with my Masters of the Universe Lunchbox! :-)
As soon as you look at this art piece, instant memories start to come to mind. This is one of the most epic battle scenes in Motu history. Amazing.
I've seen variations on this image so many times and I love it - as a slice of early MOTU it really can't be beaten! :)
