Here is the third of four highly memorable illustrations from the 1981
Masters of the Universe Licensee Book. These illustrations were reproduced on many
Masters of the Universe items at the height of its popularity! I love the fury of which
Skeletor's head is snapping back after being struck by
He-Man; falling into the throne of
Castle Grayskull no less!

He-Man swinging his fists reminds me of that quick little moment in the "Dree Elle's Return" episode, where it looked like He-Man was punching Clawful, in order to free himself from the clutches of the villain!
The throne looks like the throne that was included in the Castle Grayskull play set. :) Great detail on Skeletor's Havoc Staff, too!
Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)
This image was on one side of the metal He-Man lunch box I had as a kid.
Another piece of art that brings a lot of memories. Pieces like these are what make MOTU awesome. It exudes so much power and energy. There is a lot in this one piece that makes MOTU great.
Something about the portrayal of He-Man's head and face feels wrong to me in this image somehow - everything else about it is great, particularly the appearance of the throne from the Grayskull playset! :)
Did the comics have many "POW!" style graphics? It's all a bit 60's Batman!
oh god! that must hurt...
I love the image, it is vibrant!
reminds me of old Batman series starring Adam West XD Even, there is an onomatopoeia of punched
