She always is!

I always thought that these few panels from the "Book of Evil" story from issue fifty-one of the UK Masters of the Universe comic were rather amusing. The panels make little to no sense. Man-At-Arms, on his Jetsled, witnesses Teela about to fall off a cliff. Instead of trying to save her he flies to ask He-Man to help! Is it me or does that not make sense in the slightest? Of course He-Man is an imposter, but his line is quite amusing, implying that Teela "always is" in danger! And one final thing worth mentioning is that we see Teela, who is also an imposter, sporting an all-blue costume...

Here's what they actually said in the original German version:

MAA: Teela?

He-Man: Why are you calling for Princess Teela?

MAA: He-Man! Save Teela... She wants to plunge herself into the depth!

He-Man: You're seeing ghosts!

That scene has always made me laugh too! What complicates things even more is that the fake Teela and He-Man are apparently BOTH Evil-Lyn in disguise... so how does she manage to be in two places at once?

I always preferred to think the fake He-Man is actually Faker, who of course stopped appearing in the comics by this stage as they were reprints of the German magazines, where Faker's toy was not released...

Also, the Jetsled was big enough to hold two people! Man-At-Arms could have flown over and had Teela hop aboard! This was like in "Quest for the Sword," when the heroes try to close up/jump a chasm to save a couple of children on the other side, then He-Man uses the Wind Raider to fly over the pit, a little later to try to get his sword back! Beautiful illustration of Teela in blue, but I simply love the pink attire that you colored for her years ago on this Blog, James. :) Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)

Lol,
You know what is kinda weird or strange about this panel. Its that He-man is right about Teela being in danger, if not all the time, but most of the time. She has been in a lot of sticky situations where she needs help in getting out of them.
