Trap Jaw the sailor!
As you should all know by now, Trap Jaw is by far my favorite villain from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The character was made all the more cooler when Robert Lamb had the character disguise himself as a sailor in "The Ancient Mirror of Avathar". Now, we all know that its a terrible disguise, and yet it fools Prince Adam; I guess in the same way that no one can notice the similarities between Prince Adam and He-Man! What I love about Trap Jaw's disguise is the design and color scheme. In some bizarre twist the disguise suits Trap Jaw incredibly well; the villain could genuinely sport this look throughout the series!

Amazing model sheet of this version of the villain! We get a little extra color variety on the character, courtesy of the disguise, too. :) It is also interesting how Trap-Jaw is featured in his disguised form throughout the entire episode! Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)
trap jaw in this episode looks amazing and I totally agree with you that might have been the characterization of the character for the entire series! eterniano hug!
He looks like Captain Cracker from Thundercats... a villain from some of the later episodes.
For the one episode, I think its a funny and charming way of displaying the wizard of weapons as a sneaky pirate on board lol
I know some people prefer the mini-comic story of Trap-Jaw, but I like the Filmation and 2002 version. Trap-Jaw looks like a pirate anyway!? Maybe he should have disguised himself as a chef or something else.
Looking at this, the idea that Superman can go completely unnoticed as Clark Kent doesn't seem so unbelievable. At least he doesn't have a red metal jaw and a hook to give him away. Shame on you, Prince Adam.
I also agree that this disguise fits well with Trap Jaw. I actually think its becuase Trap Jaw gives off a slight vibe to a pirate almost. Not much, but slightly.
Trap jaw the sailor man! I suppose people never suspected Adam of being He-Man and he never suspected Trap Jaw. Love the detailing here, very cool indeed!
Trap-Jaw was born to play a pirate, what with that hook for a hand. I wonder if there are any fanfics pairing Trap-Jaw with Sea Hawk?
He really does make a perfect pirate with this look. And this could make for a very interesting custom :-)
It's the beard that's the best part. I suppose a metal jaw would have given the game away. Just so long as it's on there, though... no need for it to actually COVER the jaw, too! Hehe. Trap Jaw was always my favourite, too.
