Once again,
Bruce Timm shows why he was one of the best artists to have worked on the
Masters of the Universe minicomics. In this panel from
"The Terror Claws Strike!" we see
Skeletor appear within
Spikor's lair. This one single panel shows a fantastic use of blacks to create one of the eeriest and most menacing illustrations of Skeletor that we have ever seen. The pose itself, with the arms folded, also creates a sense of great power.

Yes! Skeletor looks like a giant here, plus he has the ability to make his eyes glow a sinister red. :) Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)
I think a LOT of MOTU fans are probably sorry that Skeletor was never portrayed like this in the Filmation cartoon - the MYP cartoon makes up for this, but even so, I don't think Skeletor was portrayed this darkly even then! :)
I great shot from the Terror Claws mini comic!! I loved the idea of Spikor being a blacksmith of sorts working hard for Skeletor as he appears anxiously awaiting his new tools of destruction!
All I can say about this is....WOW!!!!! Skeletor looks sooo evil here. He could definitely take out Hordak! Other favorite menacing Skeletor images of mine is the way he appeared in the movie, both as his regular form and as his "god" form, and also I love the MYP skeleton. I don't care too much for the 2002 toy skeleton, though. He just looks wrong...Like a zombie or something. And it is also wrong that you could remove the helmet from the Battle Armor version, revealing the who skull. This is almost sacrilege for Skeletor.
That´s the way to portrait Skeletor, not like some poor schmuck who transforms into a bellied cook.
I love this mini-comic. I remember the pages of Spikor working on the terror claws. Very good art in this mini comic. And i agree, Skeletor looks very, very menacing here.
Another great piece of art. there are so many terrific pieces that sadly dont get the praise that they should do and this is one of them. thanks for sharing my friend!
The mood in that picture is just perfect. I wished we had more "sinister" looking pictures like this of Skeletor.
Personally, I think he looks like a genie. An evil one, sure, but if I was Spikor I'd be thinking up my three wishes! :)
Bruce Timm once again doing an awesome job there. The image makes me wish we got a MotUC Skeletor head just with glowing eyes underneath the hood!
