FILMATION ART: Royal Palace interior.

For the last fifteen years I have collected He-Man and She-Ra animation artwork. As a result I have amassed a pretty large collection! Here I present a piece of original background artwork from the He-Man episode "Diamond Ray of Disappearance" showing the interior of the Royal Palace, specifically a large room with an exiting corridor. I wanted this piece of artwork as it was part of the scene in which we see Prince Adam for the first time disappoint his father, King Randor, by making his excuses and leaving during an attack.

And here is how the background was used in the episode...

Filmation architecture always blows me away. It's a good thing the palace isn't as pink on the inside as it is on the outside though, or nobody would ever be able to find lazy Adam at all!

The detail is especially impressive for the corridor in the background. It makes the scenery look even more spacious. :) Definitely one of the most impressive looking settings within the Royal Palace! Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)

Great stuff!
Thank you for sharing your massive collection-pieces!

I also love seeing how much more there is background painted beyond what was seen on tv-screens. This is no exception. :)

Now that is one impressive piece of rare artwork.

Be sure to keep that safe James. ;)

All you need now is a Prince Adam cel to go with this scene. ;)
