The Iron Master attacks!

Here is a very dramatic illustration from the Ladybird book "The Iron Master" by Robin Davies. I love the angle on this illustration in which we see the heroes atop Castle Grayskull looking down towards the Iron Master, as it chases He-Man and Battle Cat towards the jaw-bridge. There is a great deal going on in this illustration. First we have Teela firing a beam from her Kobra staff, striking the Iron Master; secondly we have the Iron Master's eyes creating shafts of harsh red light; and thirdly He-Man and Battle Cat racing into the castle.

The perspective is absolutely brilliant, with the overhead view of the heroes and He-Man & Battle Cat at the right hand side. I also love how the geography of Grayskull is correct. But I sure hope those beams from teh Iron Masters eyes are just headlights, or that they went over the heroes' heads, otherwize they'd be burned to a crisp.

Poor Teela and company look like they are about to get the worst sunburn from The Iron Master! I love the use of color between He-Man's allies colored in the different shades of red, and the combination of blue and green used for the rocky setting for and around the castle. :) Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)

You failed to mention that Stratos is in this scene. Long live Avion!

Caption: Castle Grayskull's red light district is accused of discrimination following Teela's manner of refusal to service a customer made of metal.
