FILMATION ART: The Evergreen Forest.

For the last sixteen years I have collected He-Man and She-Ra animation artwork. As a result I have amassed a pretty large collection! Here I present a piece of original background artwork from the He-Man episode "Like Father, Like Daughter" showing the Evergreen Forest. I always thought that the Evergreen Forest was one of the most beautifully illustrated parts of Eternia in the series. The wonderful thing about this piece is the use of colors; primarily the use of purples that seem to work seamlessly into this piece, and reflect the colors of the mountains in the distance.

And here is how the background was used in the episode...

This post is fitting for "St. Patrick's Day!" Wow, the colors are more bright in the first photo! James, for the first time in a couple of years I finally sat down and watched four He-Man episodes on my DVD collection! Just thought that you'd like to know. :) I believe that the Evergreen Forest (Or a similar setting) shows up in "Pawns of the Game Master" and "Golden Disks of Knowlege," two of the episodes that I saw today. :) Congratulations on getting hold of this artwork, Sir! Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)

Queen Marlena is wrong. Living on Eternia would be much nicer than here on Earth. haha! Seriously, the Evergreen Forest looks gorgeous. Have you mixed and matched a lot of cells with this background or do you just display it as is?
