Coloring book #15 - Tiny Raider?

During the eighties there were many Masters of the Universe coloring books, all of which featured a variety of artwork, with varying degrees of quality. Some artists put in a great level of detail, other artists simply copied model sheets, and some artists were just plain questionable. There were a batch of illustrations by one particular unnamed artist that I have a great affection for, mainly because the style is close to the cartoon, but bold enough to be identifiable as the artist's own! These images also showcased some pretty impressive scenes that I personally wish could have been seen in the Filmation series. In this illustration we see Man-At-Arms working feverishly in his laboratory. However, unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, careful inspection will reveal that he is working on what appears to be the Wind Raider. A very small Wind Raider!

Unless that's the gold-colored gun attachment to the vehicle? Man-At-Arms has a look on his face like he will snap at Orko if Orko dares enter the lab and try to show Man-At-Arms a magic trick! :)

Well, the Wind Raider toy was actually pretty small and could only seat one. That's why I never wanted one as a kid. It was too small compared to the one in the cartoon. I wonder how many vintage figures fit into the new MOTUC Raider?
