He-Man's bad dream!
"Nightmares!" from issue sixteen of the UK Masters of the Universe Adventure magazine tells a unique story in which Prince Adam's dreams are plagued by nightmares so realistic that he seeks the help of the Sorceress! In this dramatic panel we see He-Man awaken from a nightmare in which he falls to his death, having been chased down by Skeletor, Hordak, and King Hiss!

In the comics is he always He-Man? In the Filmation cartoon we saw Prince Adam sleep in a fancy bed a few times. He even has a bad dream in one episode.
Makes me think of the "Eternal Darkness" episode, with the bad dreams. He-Man's expression is something we would see more for Prince Adam in the Filmation cartoon! I like the color and design for the head-board of the bed. :)
What is He-Man doing in the royal bedroom? What if The King was to walk in and see him in Adam's bed! Or worse, Teela!
To answer previous questions: he went to sleep as He-Man on Man-At-Arms' suggestion. Prince Adam had been plagued by the dreams and MAA suggested that he transform to He-Man before going to sleep in case that helped him fight off the demons in his dreams. It didn't work, as this panel shows!
