Here is one of my favorite illustrations from the
Masters of the Universe Ladybird book
"A Trap For He-Man".
Skeletor's stance with his
Power Blade held high makes him look incredibly formidable, as
Teela appears to be resigned to the fact that she is Skeletor's prisoner. The
Shadow-Man, who appear in force in this story, is also given an appropriately cool low pose. There is an impressive use of blacks in this illustration, and throughout the book, too!

Ha, ha! Even when Teela is all tied up, she manages to strike a pose with her legs. :) Her "Woe is me" expression is well-presented too! Also, the Shadow Man is illustrated in a similar fashion to He-Man's "shadow" from the "Ordeal in the Darklands" episode! :)
