Throughout this month The Power and The Honor Foundation in conjunction with The He-Man and She-Ra Blog will be showcasing never-before-seen Filmation production artwork.
This illustration shows one of the numerous designs conceptualized for Queen Angella for the She-Ra series. Even though this design bears little resemblance to the final character model, certain motifs from this design were carried over.

Great Design
She looks very regal, love her expression
Greta pic, reminds me of an actress I can't quite place...
Now, this would make for a nice new character/actionfigure, too! She could be Angella's mom!
Wow, I love this version way better than the final version! She looks like the stereotypical fairy design with the bare arms, plus her hair style reminds me of her younger version in the flashback from the "Micah of Bright Moon" episode. :)
Queen Angella looks very elegant in this early concept-art. Love it. I might have preferred the hair-style over the final version. :)
THIS is the Angella I would've loved. Looks closer to the toy, and I like the lack of gauntlets. Very unique.
It is somewhat better than the final version.
Great first impression, love her face
