Throughout this month The Power and The Honor Foundation in conjunction with The He-Man and She-Ra Blog will be showcasing never-before-seen Filmation production artwork.
This illustration by Fred Carrillo, featuring a scene from the He-Man episode "The Remedy", highlights just how talented an artist he was. Rarely was layout artwork this detailed, as its job was simply to dictate the movement of the characters in a shot. Carrillo's level of detail throughout his illustrations remind us of his numerous artistic contributions to the Golden Book publications.

Awesome!
"Yoink!"
This was an amazing piece of animation, because it was so swift and powerful ... He-Man looks more like his action toy version here and the trees remind me of the opening setting in the "Hunt for He-Man" episode ... All the same, everything is illustrated to perfection! :)
To quote another 80's show title, "That's Incredible!"
I love love love Fred Carrillo's art. I'd love to get an entire book filled with his b&w artworks! :)
Amazing detail and layout from Fred Carrillo.
This promises a fight under water! If He-Man do it?
