I teased a panel from this story many, many years ago! At long last I finally present
"Double Trouble", a story that appeared in issue fourteen of the UK
Masters of the Universe Adventure magazine. You can never have enough stories featuring a clone of
He-Man. Okay, well, you can, but this one is unique in that
Skeletor is the He-Man clone in question this time around! Here are the first four pages...

Nice one, this is one of my favourite stories from the UK comics! I was a bit confused at the time why Skeletor would need to impersonate He-Man when they supposedly already had Faker for that job, but when I realized it was reprinted from the German comics, and Faker was never released in Germany, it made sense!
I always got a lot of good laughs out of this story, with the way the 'evil He-Man' speaks, i.e. talking like a villain when he's still trying to present himself as a good guy! It's also pretty funny how Blast-Attak and Saurod just immediately run away at the sight of He-Man without even trying to use their powers against him!
Yes, I do remember that illustration at the top of the second page posted years ago and was wondering what that was all about! Once again, Evil-Lyn is illustrated beautifully throughout this story, but you would never hear of Skeletor rewarding Evil-Lyn for her help in the Filmation cartoon. :) I like how the heroes catch on about Prince Adam not being in his He-Man form while Skeletor, disguised as He-Man, made his attacks! Also nice to see the different Snake Men working together with the Evil Warriors. :) Thanks for reading and God Bless! ~"KevyGuy" :)
In the original version, Man-At-Arms and Adam had no idea that a village was attacked by "He-Man". Duncan simply reminded Adam that it was time for a routine check up of the border areas. :)
