"Double Trouble" #3
I teased a panel from this story many, many years ago! At long last I finally present "Double Trouble", a story that appeared in issue fourteen of the UK Masters of the Universe Adventure magazine. You can never have enough stories featuring a clone of He-Man. Okay, well, you can, but this one is unique in that Skeletor is the He-Man clone in question this time around! Here are the final three pages...

Orko giving He-Man the drink reminds me of what happens between rounds of boxing matches. :) It's rather surprising how easily and quickly Skeletor flees, once his true identity was exposed, instead of putting up a fight against He-Man, but I really like the special effects! I also like Orko's argument concerning why Prince Adam should continue to read the book versus Teela wanting him to train for battle. :)
Great story; this would have made an awesome episode of the show. Good comedy factor here too with the way Skeletor speaks when impersonating He-Man. He needs to go to acting school and learn to play the part better ;)
The lower right panel in the final picture about the 'big changes' was the first hint the UK readers got of the upcoming change to the New Adventures stories in the magazine, which came 6 issues later.
