So what happens in the Whispering Woods when Madame Razz tries to improve some of the wild flowers by making them bigger? Poor old Broom finds out in the She-Ra Ladybird book "Shadow Weaver's Magic Mirror" illustrated by Robin Davies. Broom is one of my favorite characters, largely due to Lou Scheimer's voice acting in the cartoon, of which I'll be featuring very soon...

LOL :) Just like Orko was transformed into a cricket in "The Shaping Staff," he still maintained some of his original features, just like Broom, here!

This illustration is very close to the cartoon version ... The artwork looks like it was taken from an animation cel. :)

Speaking of Broom, I was watching my copy of "Secret Of The Sword," last week, and noticed that Broom's face disappears after he and Madame Razz collide into a tree for their very first appearance in the series ... The spot where Broom's face is supposed to be is just a regular broom handle as both characters slide down from the tree! Poor fellow!

One more thing ... It would have been a treat if Broom actually did find a nice, cute mop to stroll with, which was mentioned at the conclusion of the "Return Of The Seahawk" episode! :)

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

So did I get this right? Razz is uzing magic and Broom was standing too close to her?

LOL Love the expression on Broom after being transformed! Though I think he would know not to stand too close to the Madame when she's doing her magics.
